Directions:
The
arena is situated in central Manchester adjacent
to Victoria station on the A56, three miles from
junction 17 of the M62.
Parking:
The
official NCP on-site multi-storey car park has a
capacity of 1,000. In addition, approximately
7,000 recognised NCP spaces within 10 minutes
walk serve the Manchester Evening News Arena.
Public
Transportation:
Buses:
Many buses serve Cannon Street and Victoria
stations and many more stop within easy walking
distance in the city centre. If you are staying
out late, night bus services on Friday and
Saturday nights run directly past the Manchester
Evening News Arena.
Rail: Victoria Station is directly underneath
the Manchester Evening News Arena and is served
by regional railways. Piccadilly Station
(Intercity) is located a mile from the arena and
is served by taxis or Metro Link to Victoria.
Trams: Manchesters excellent Metrolink system
passes right by the Manchester Evening News
Arena, stopping at Victoria. Services run from
Bury, Altrincham and Manchester Piccadilly rail
station. Metrolink enquiries 0161 205 2000.

Venue
box office open Mon-Sat 10:00-18:00 (later on
event days) and on Sundays from 12:00 until half
an hour after the event starts (closed on
Sundays if there is no event).
Types
of Payment Accepted:
All
major credit cards accepted on the 24-hour
booking line. The box office accepts cash or
cheque payments without a booking fee, and
credit card/debit card payments with a booking
fee of 5%. Postal bookings: Should be made

Box
Office Collection Accepted:
Pre-booked
tickets can be collected from fourteen days
before the event, or up to a half-hour after the
event starts. Customers must take the credit
card used to make the booking and the
Ticketmaster reference number with them in order
to collect the tickets. The cardholder will need
to sign for the tickets. If you have any queries
regarding box office collections, please contact
Ticketmaster's customer services department.
Accessible
Seating:
Provisions
have been made to cater for wheelchair users.
Lifts have been installed and it is possible to
enter the arena by the access link between
Trinity Way and Victoria Station. The Hunts Bank
entrance is accessible via external lift and
access from the car park and Victoria Station is
possible via the City Room. The second raised
tier of seating (BLK 201 and above) requires the
negotiation of steep steps and so may not be
suitable for the elderly, infirm or those with
mobility problems.Seating at the front of the
upper tier is 35ft (10m) from ground, rising to
70ft (20m) at the rear.

General
Rules:
No
video cameras, still cameras or recording
devices. No food or drink allowed. Banners are
allowed at basketball matches only.
From 1st July this will be a non-smoking venue
Children
Rules:
Children
under the age of two are admitted free, except
for children's shows (e.g. Tweenies etc) where
the age limit is 12 months.
Children without a ticket will not be allocated
a seat and must sit on the parents lap. Children
aged 14 years and under are encouraged to
purchase seated tickets. Any unders 14s in the
standing area must be accompanied by an adult.
Miscellaneous:
There
is a video scoreboard for all sporting events.
The arena has been acoustically treated and
therefore has excellent sound quality. There is
a large and varied range of refreshment outlets.
Duplicate tickets will not be issued for general
admission standing ticket events.
