Itinerary

On this Hop-On Hop-Off tour, you have the freedom to plan your own sightseeing itinerary. With eleven stops covering all of Manchester’s main attractions such as Manchester United Football Ground and Imperial War Museum North, this tour provides the perfect introduction to the city.

Your ticket is valid for 24 hours from when you first board one of the buses. Buses run from 1000h (10:00 am) to 1600h (4:00 pm) with a frequency of 45-90 minutes. Your ticket allows you unlimited use, meaning you can hop-on and hop-off as many times as you like at any of the designated stops.

You can board the bus from any of the stops:

St Peter’s Square: From here, you can see some of the best buildings in Manchester. Specially worth seeing is the neo-classical Central Library.

Old Trafford: See the premier league Manchester United Football Ground.

The Trafford Centre

Trafford Wharf Road: The main attraction here is the Imperial War Museum North. This award-winning building by international architect Daniel Libeskind is a symbol of our world torn apart by conflict.

Salford Quay: The Quays is Greater Manchester's unique waterfront destination. It is host to a wealth of world-class entertainment, leisure and cultural facilities including The Lowry, Imperial War Museum North, Ordsall Hall and The Lowry Outlet Mall.

Liverpool Road: The main attraction here is the Museum of Science & Industry in Manchester, which contains many galleries of science, technology and archaeology.

Quay Street: The Opera House is situated here.

Albert Square: Stroll past the pubs and restaurants in this square.

Corporation Centre: See the Cathedral and stroll through the Arndale Market.

City of Manchester Stadium: Gain and insight into the rich sporting history of Manchester City Football Club Manchester in the Manchester City Football Club musuem.

Princess Street: The main attractions around this site include the Albert Square, Piccadilly Gardens and the Manchester Art Gallery.
